Exhibitions at the Flipbook Gallery are directed by Matthew Howland as a response to the lack of creative gallery spaces in Brisbane. The primary aim is to nurture, embrace and support the emergence of innovative talent. Exhibitions seek to both introduce contemporary art to a new public and provoke existing connoisseurs.

THE GALLERY

The space is located in Brisbane's vibrant suburb of West End and also hosts four resident artist studios, that of Chris Booth, Adam Lester and Jan Van Dijk and bevron. This Artist Rn Initiative is known as the Flipbook Collaborative.
